Responsibility
- Perform thorough inspections of avionics components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformities, defects, and deviations.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve manufacturing processes.
- Conduct first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and calibration data in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and propose preventive measures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing inspection data and process documentation.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in aviation manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aviation Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a similar role within manufacturing, aerospace, or avionics.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, CMM machines, and other precision measurement tools.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
- Familiarity with FAA, EASA, or other aviation regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
