Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure timely restocking and avoid shortages.
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Oversee the purchasing process, including request for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluations, and contract finalization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, budget adherence, and savings achievements to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of industry standards, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
