Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards for raw materials and components.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with operational needs and budget constraints.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications in our ERP system.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to assess compliance with quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
- Resolve discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, or quality issues with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance, for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and financial reports to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) or supply chain management is a strong advantage.
