Responsibility
- Execute end-to-end purchasing processes for production consumables, maintenance parts, and related materials to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, finance) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through market research, bulk purchasing, and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, tracking KPIs such as lead times, cost variances, and supplier delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, MRP, and just-in-time (JIT) procurement.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
