Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and proper storage to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock ordering, expiration date monitoring, and maintaining a well-organized pharmacy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate customers on over-the-counter (OTC) products, vitamins, and health supplements tailored to their needs.
- Participate in health screening initiatives (e.g., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring) to promote community wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to pharmacy regulations and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements and local healthcare trends through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Provisional registration as a pharmacist with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board or equivalent (e.g., Indonesian pharmacist license in progress).
- Bachelorâs degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (additional languages are a plus).
