Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure and firewall solutions for client projects.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and firewall-related issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices to mitigate risks.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for future reference.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in network infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with expertise in firewall technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, and routing/switching.
- Experience with firewall platforms such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.
