Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and failure analysis to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and safety specialists, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen principles) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical issues during project execution and post-implementation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in safety management, testing, or industrial projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASME, API) and local regulations for mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with a focus on safety and quality.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
