Responsibility
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and flooring.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials with high precision.
- Install interior and exterior fixtures such as cabinets, windows, doors, and trim.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Inspect work for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain and care for hand and power tools to ensure they remain in peak operating condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar trade role.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high output quality.
- Proficient in using both manual and power woodworking tools.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction safety standards.
- Excellent mathematical skills for precise measuring and cutting.
- Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints accurately.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and perform labor-intensive tasks.
