Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, cold brew, and specialty drinks, adhering to high-quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate stock needs to the management team.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
- Educate customers about different coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accuracy in order processing.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking effectively.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to continuously learn and improve your craft.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
