Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including restocking supplies and ensuring the bar area meets hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu options to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system with accuracy.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or issues to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn and master various brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of coffee beans, roasting, and preparation methods is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality products.
