Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of medical devices to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and prevent defects.
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch documentation and inventory logs.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, SOPs, and equipment operation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with GMP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485).
- Proficient in using production management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate production teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
