Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers and vendors for raw materials, services, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, legal) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Manage purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize stockouts.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with ethical, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Leverage data analytics tools to track KPIs (e.g., cost reduction, lead time, supplier reliability) and present insights to stakeholders.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively by identifying alternative sources and implementing contingency plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of incoterms, import/export regulations, and global sourcing practices is a plus.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
