Responsibility
- Oversee the full procurement lifecycle for mining operations, from sourcing to contract finalization.
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure compliance and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement activities with production needs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Leverage Mandarin language skills to communicate effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of contract law, logistics, and inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
