Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Implement and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as banks and tax authorities, as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and adjust processes accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of local tax laws and labor regulations.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
