Responsibility
- Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll for employees in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Analyze and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Audit payroll reports and tax filings, including state, federal, and city tax returns.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of payroll systems and processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data and employee information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
