Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Provide onsite technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security checks to maintain IT infrastructure integrity.
- Collaborate with remote IT teams to implement and support global IT initiatives.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in setting up and configuring new workstations, including software installations and user training.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, and IT asset management software.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
