Responsibility
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and statements aligned with brand messaging.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage.
- Monitor media mentions and compile reports on coverage, sentiment, and reach.
- Assist in organizing press conferences, interviews, and media events (virtual or in-person).
- Research and identify media opportunities (trends, outlets, and contacts) to amplify brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Track and analyze media KPIs (impressions, engagement, share of voice) to measure campaign success.
- Maintain an up-to-date media database and contact lists for outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in media relations, PR, or journalism (internships count!).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify media trends and opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital PR strategies is a plus.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (remote options may be considered).
