Responsibility
- Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems for elevators, escalators, and related equipment using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and architects to integrate mechanical components into building designs.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of elevator systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and maintenance manuals.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in vertical transportation and propose innovative solutions.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE license) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in elevator or heavy machinery industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and FEA tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with project management and ability to read/interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as needed.
