Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate material plans to support production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of components and finished goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
- Monitor material shortages, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize production downtime.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material requirements based on production changes, market trends, and supplier lead times.
- Generate and maintain reports on inventory performance, material availability, and supply chain metrics for management review.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, negotiate lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Implement and adhere to inventory control policies, including FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and cycle counting procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Material Planner or in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing (EMS) or related industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret demand forecasts, inventory data, and production schedules.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external suppliers.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques is a plus.
- Certification in CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are an advantage.
