Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the procurement process to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements and plan accordingly.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory records and investigate issues related to material shortages or surpluses.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, material usage, and procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
