Join the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the Manager of the Global Centre for Asian Women's Health, a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing women's health research, education, and policy across Asia. This is a unique 2-year contract opportunity based in Bali, Indonesia, with hybrid/remote work flexibility in key locations such as Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung.

The Global Centre for Asian Women's Health is at the forefront of addressing critical health disparities and promoting gender equity in healthcare. As the Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Centre's strategic direction, fostering international collaborations, and driving impactful programs that improve health outcomes for women across the region. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for public health, gender equity, and cross-cultural collaboration.

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of Asian women. Responsibility

  • Lead the strategic planning and operational management of the Global Centre for Asian Women's Health, ensuring alignment with NUS's vision and mission.
  • Develop and implement programs, research initiatives, and policy recommendations focused on improving women's health outcomes in Asia.
  • Foster partnerships with international organizations, academic institutions, NGOs, and government agencies to enhance the Centre's impact and reach.
  • Oversee the Centre's budget, resource allocation, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of researchers, program coordinators, and administrative staff to drive project success.
  • Organize and lead high-profile events, workshops, and conferences to disseminate research findings and promote knowledge exchange.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Represent the Centre at international forums, presenting research findings and advocating for gender-sensitive health policies.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, public health, or gender equity initiatives, with a focus on women's health.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Strong understanding of health disparities, gender equity issues, and policy development in the Asian context.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills, with experience working with NGOs, government agencies, and academic institutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in budget management, grant writing, and fundraising for health-related initiatives.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
