Responsibility

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of company facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to execute preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for catering events, ensuring all systems are functional and safe for use.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related technical role, preferably in hospitality or food service.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with the ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems commonly used in restaurants and catering services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Basic computer skills for recording maintenance activities and generating reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
  • Certification or training in maintenance-related fields (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) is a plus but not required.
