Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of logistics staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Manage logistics budgets, track expenses, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a logistics supervisory or managerial role, preferably in manufacturing or transportation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
