Responsibility
- Develop and review mechanical system designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and material takeoffs for mechanical components of projects.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed mechanical solutions.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance system performance.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and documentation for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer (mandatory) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction, estimation, or project management within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software for design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial mechanical systems.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills for accurate cost estimation.
- Familiarity with local building codes, ASME, and ISO standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
