Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of tax specialists, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial performance and compliance.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues.
- Conduct tax research and provide insights on tax implications for business decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Oversee general accounting functions, including financial reporting and audits.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing tax-related insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
