Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and research objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project portfolios, ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, scientists, and stakeholders, to streamline workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance metrics and recommending actionable insights.
  • Facilitate resource allocation, capacity planning, and prioritization to maximize productivity and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and institutional standards in all research and project activities.
  • Mentor and train teams on PMO tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project governance to foster a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a PMO leadership role, preferably in R&D, academia, or technology-driven environments.
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse teams and leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello) and advanced Excel/BI tools.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource optimization for large-scale projects.
