Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families enrolled in the KidSTART programme to identify needs, strengths, and risk factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with families, caregivers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide direct case management, including home visits, counseling, and resource coordination to address social, emotional, and developmental challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops, parenting sessions, and community outreach activities to promote early childhood development and family well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and families, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Advocate for children’s rights and access to essential services, including healthcare, education, and social support systems.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records, documentation, and reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with local NGOs, government agencies, and healthcare providers to build a strong support network for programme participants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social work, child welfare, or early intervention programmes, preferably in a community or NGO setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to assess needs, develop care plans, and manage cases effectively in a multicultural context.
  • Familiarity with local social services, healthcare systems, and community resources in Bali or Indonesia is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa); additional local dialects are advantageous.
  • Commitment to ethical practices, cultural sensitivity, and child safeguarding standards.
