Responsibility

  • Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, government programs, and patients accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and billing codes to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving discrepancies and appealing denials as needed.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to clarify billing inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing software, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare regulations.
  • Generate and review patient statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts receivable and preparing financial reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve billing processes and enhance revenue cycle efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), or healthcare revenue cycle management is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional languages are a bonus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn medical billing software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian healthcare regulations and insurance processes is advantageous.
