Note: This is a full-time position based in Bali, with opportunities to work from our offices in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or other key locations across the island.
Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network solutions that support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security protocols.
- Perform regular network audits, document configurations, and update network diagrams to maintain accurate records.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff on network-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade network devices.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
