As an IT Asset Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, tracking, and securing our IT assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Responsibility
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Coordinate the procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT assets in compliance with company policies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor and track asset lifecycles, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize asset utilization and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data security and asset management policies.
- Generate reports on asset status, usage, and performance for management review.
- Assist in the implementation of IT asset management best practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing models.
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+, or similar are a plus.
