Responsibility
- Assist in the accurate tracking and recording of inventory movements, including receipts, issuances, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective inventory replenishment.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory aging and obsolescence, proposing write-offs or adjustments as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and provide data-driven insights to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in F&B, retail, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
