Responsibility
- Prepare and lodge SMSF financial statements and tax returns in compliance with Australian regulations.
- Manage SMSF audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide expert advice to clients on SMSF compliance, contributions, and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the preparation of SMSF annual returns and other statutory requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in SMSF legislation and industry best practices.
- Support senior accountants in client meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SMSF accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian SMSF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Certification such as CA or CPA is a plus.
