Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment.
- Replace and restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms as needed.
- Inspect rooms to verify they meet quality and cleanliness standards before guest arrival.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or housekeeping needs.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the management team.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisors of any shortages.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role in the hospitality industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous.
