Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
- Inspect machinery for wear, damage, or defects and document findings in detailed service reports.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.
- Operate and test equipment post-repair to ensure full functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize repair tasks and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Heavy Equipment Technician or in a similar mechanical role.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy machinery components.
- Certification in heavy equipment repair or a related technical field is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
- Familiarity with OSHA or equivalent safety standards.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (if not already based there).
