Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify and resolve software defects.
- Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor and report on key QA metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to software quality.
- Drive the adoption of new testing technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in test automation, performance testing, and security testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
