Responsibility
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
