Responsibility
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring timely and accurate posting of journal entries.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Leverage financial software and tools to automate processes, improve reporting, and drive data-driven insights.
- Stay updated on accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory changes to ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
