Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform comprehensive general ledger reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries with strict adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Analyze variance between actual results and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations and internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline accounting workflows and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of solid experience in general accounting or GL roles.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Philippine tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight monthly deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate financial data clearly.
