Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections on various diesel and gas-powered generator sets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical failures in engines, alternators, and control systems.
- Conduct load bank testing, fuel system calibrations, and cooling system flushes to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, repair, and maintain Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Manual Transfer Switches (MTS).
- Interpret technical blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams for precise system diagnostics.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and provide efficient on-site technical solutions.
- Document all service activities, including parts used, labor hours, and technical findings in detailed service reports.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Technology.
- At least 2-3 years of solid experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial generator sets.
- Holders of TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or Automotive Engine Repair are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines and AC/DC electrical systems.
- Familiarity with various generator brands and digital controller configurations (e.g., Deep Sea, ComAp).
- Willingness to work on-site at various locations across Metro Manila and handle emergency on-call shifts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to mechanical troubleshooting.
