Responsibility
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and billing with accuracy and discretion.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to offer tailored recommendations.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage financial transactions in compliance with hotel policies.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, grooming, and etiquette in all guest interactions.
- Assist in training and mentoring new front office staff to maintain service excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a front office or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or international chain is highly advantageous.
