Responsibility
- Oversee the full finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to optimize the company's financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and inspections.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a multinational or regional company is an advantage.
