Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily financial operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and implement financial budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans to support business objectives.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions to ensure liquidity.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate smooth annual audit processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization across the organization.
- Mentor and supervise finance staff to promote professional growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
- Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.
- Exceptional integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
