Responsibility
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy between internal records and external statements.
- Prepare and maintain audit schedules, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process and review journal entries, including adjustments and corrections, to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Conduct thorough checks on cashless transactions to detect discrepancies, errors, or fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions and reconciliation processes for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in finance, accounting, or reconciliation roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
