Join a leading utilities group in Singapore as a Finance Executive Officer. We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to provide hands-on support in financial reporting and analysis. Responsibility
- Execute and support the full cycle of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform daily accounting entries and ensure accuracy in the general ledger using SAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify transaction records against source documents.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management dashboards.
- Support the team in variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and assist in internal audit compliance checks.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies, statutory regulations, and GST requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a hands-on accounting or finance support role.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) is highly preferred; familiarity with other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
