Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize daily credit control operations, accounts receivable (AR) management, and overall finance workflows.
- Evaluate and assess credit risk profiles for new and existing corporate clients to determine appropriate credit limits.
- Establish, review, and strictly enforce the company's credit control policies and risk mitigation strategies.
- Formulate monthly cash flow forecasts and manage collections targets to maximize working capital efficiency.
- Liaise with legal counsel, third-party collection agencies, and internal sales divisions to resolve complex delinquent accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk reports, aging debt analysis, and recovery status updates for senior management.
- Lead and mentor the finance operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related professional qualification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA).
- 5 to 8+ years of direct experience in credit control, AR management, or corporate finance operations.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and deep experience with financial statement analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage difficult conversations and secure payments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under tight deadlines.
