Responsibility
- Manage and process financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management for the National Basketball Programme.
- Monitor and track budgets, providing regular financial reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, local regulations, and international financial standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement and financial strategies with program objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Implement and improve financial and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Support audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, procurement, or a similar role, preferably in the sports or non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with sports administration or experience in a similar industry is a plus.
