Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax) in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to GAAP and local accounting standards.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to resolve discrepancies and ensure transparency.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate salary disbursements for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or financial reporting (preferably in Indonesia).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho) and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPH, PPN, etc.) and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia for stakeholder coordination.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international business environment is advantageous.
