Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases, to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency through automation and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role (internships or part-time roles are a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and reports.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
