Responsibility
- Deliver exceptional F&B service to guests in accordance with established standards, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Lead and supervise a team of service attendants, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high service levels.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including table arrangements, decor, and presentation to reflect the establishmentâs brand and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of F&B supplies, linens, and equipment, and report shortages or issues to management.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures, guest interaction, and operational best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in F&B service, preferably in a supervisory or captain role within hotels, resorts, or high-end restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including table setup, order taking, and guest interaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and team members effectively.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing or mentoring a team of service staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Certification in hospitality or F&B service (e.g., WSET, TIPS, or local equivalents) is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the establishment.
