TikTok Shop is seeking an Emergency Response Management Lead to join our Governance & Experience (GNE) team in Singapore. In this high-stakes role, you will be the architect of our rapid response strategies, managing complex operational disruptions and ensuring seamless business continuity. You will collaborate cross-functionally with legal, policy, product, and operations teams to mitigate risks and protect the integrity of the TikTok Shop ecosystem. Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive emergency response strategies to address operational, safety, and security incidents within TikTok Shop.
- Lead cross-functional task forces during critical incidents to ensure rapid mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Conduct deep-dive post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain playbooks for various crisis scenarios, ensuring clear communication channels and decision-making protocols.
- Monitor platform trends and data to proactively identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with global internal stakeholders to align regional emergency strategies with global governance standards.
- Provide training and guidance to regional teams to enhance organizational readiness and incident response capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, International Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in crisis management, business continuity, or operational risk, preferably in e-commerce or tech.
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations with sound judgment and calmness under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable risk strategies.
- Deep understanding of the e-commerce regulatory landscape and online safety governance.
- Experience in incident management software and reporting tools is highly preferred.
